About the Role
An opportunity has arisen within Trumps for an enthusiastic, responsible, pro-active and customer focused Production Team Leader to lead the morning machine and packing team.
The position is a full-time role and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take that next step in their career.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and leading in the machine packing area to ensure maximum production within the production schedule.
- Operating in a hands-on capacity on our form-fill and re-sealable packaging machines;
- Lead, problem-solve and assist in supervision as required.
- Assist with implementing systems and policies within the area and work towards being the back-up Production Supervisor.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will:
- Be a strong leader with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Have experience in a hands-on continuous improvement environment and have demonstrated your ability to implement warehouse improvements.
- Operated in a similar role or you may have demonstrated your ability to motivate staff and increase productivity as a Team Leader and now seek to ‘step-up’ to the next level.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
It will be your passion, commitment, can do attitude, strong ethics, commitment to safe work practices, analytical approach and ability to motivate staff and coordinate resources for better performance that will see you succeed in this role.
As this is a pivotal role within the organisation you must be able to demonstrate excellent people skills and organisational abilities along with the willingness to lead by example.
