A contract manufacturing business in the animal health industry located in the Hawkesbury area seeks a production operator to work in their powder blending section.
About the role
Duties include
- Batch manufacturing and mixing of raw materials
- Packing products
- Labelling
- Be able to perform general production paper work and quality checks as required
- Operating a forklift
- Housekeeping
To be successful the candidate is required to have;
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills. Good command of English
- Must be physically fit and able to regularly lift up to 25kg
- Be prepared to work hard and learn to in order to possibly advance to a leading role.
We are offering a permanent position after a qualifying period.

Skills and experience
- MUST have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment - minimum 2 years
- Preferably, have experience working for a pharmaceutical or veterinary business
- Very clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Some understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must be physically fit! Will have to lift up to 25kgs.
- Forklift experience required
