Omni Recruit are currently looking for an Assembler to work on Day shift on ongoing casual roles based in the Dry Creek.
Our client offers good in house training within their established team, in a clean, safe and friendly workplace.
These positions offers full time, Mon - Fri hours - Day shift is 6am to 2.30pm.
About the role:
- Manufacturing Timber frames
- Cutting timber to size and length
- Manual Handling
- Operation of power tools and production equipment
- Product Assembly
- Interpret design/construction plans
Skills and experience required:
- Experience with hand tools
- Previous manufacturing workplace experience is an advantage but not essential
- Able to use initiative
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Fit & able to perform physical tasks
- Hands on and is able to multitask
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- Understanding of workplace safety
- Able to manage customer phone enquiries
- Forklift license is an advantage
