About the Role
The main functions of the role are writing scripts for modules using a standard format and writing formula, mapping standards to training content, training related documentation to support training materials.
The responsibilities of the Professional Learning Developer are participating in the writing, development, and delivery of training in effective teaching, positive high-expectations behavior and professional development for school improvement through our Mastery Teaching Pathway.
Applicants must demonstrate experience in the following selection criteria:
Essential criteria
- Ability to consolidate large amounts of technical information into a training story
- Experience in training teachers
- Experience with online learning systems such as Learn Dash
- Experience in developing learning packages
- Hold a solid understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles and understanding of different learning methods
- Demonstrated experience of the Queensland (or other states and territories) education sector; policies, structure, framework
- Ability to think strategically through complex issues taking into account the bigger picture and longer-term outcomes
- Successful delivery of project outcomes in a complex environment including the use of project management methodology and risk management
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to develop strong networks with diverse key partners with demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to sell difficult/contentious concepts
Requirements:
- Possess a Blue Card (or if successful provide evidence of obtaining/applying prior to commencement)
- Evidence of a successfully completed Police Check
