Adopting a strengths-based approach by consulting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the design, delivery and evaluation of strategies that build on and enhance the capacity of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and further solidify our working relationships.About the roleThis role will lead Indigenous Knowledges initiatives across the faculty and support development of new units to update/replace existing offerings, as well as the application of new knowledge and expertise to support curriculum innovation across other existing units. The successful applicant will preferably have experience with high quality development of digital-first course/unit design and of online and hybrid modes of teaching. As a senior academic, the successful applicant will have a strong track record of research outputs, external funding, and a clear strategy for future leadership in research.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience demonstrating the ability to:
- Lead Indigenous Knowledges initiatives across the faculty and support development of new units to update/replace existing offerings, as well as the application of new knowledge and expertise to support curriculum innovation.
- Develop digital-first course/unit design and online and hybrid modes of teaching.
- Build and maintain relationships with community, and broker opportunities for UNE to connect and innovate with Indigenous communities, especially locally.
