We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Program Coordinator Community Foundation Skills to build effective networks and developing partnerships for our Community Foundation Skills Program at our PCYC AurukunYouth Club. Community Foundation Skills offers assistance to young people aged 15 and above with low-level language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills. This program will equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to participate successfully in a modern knowledge economy.

Your New Role
The Program Coordinator will research, prepare, develop, implement, and evaluate a range of activities that meet the needs of the State Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative – Community Foundation Skills. The role is responsible for building effective networks and developing partnerships with community organisations to aid disadvantaged Queenslanders with low level language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) skills to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to participate successfully in a modern knowledge economy.
About You
- Certificate IV in Community Services or related field (Desirable)
- Experience in social and community sector programs
- Demonstrated experience managing training programs
- Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
- Ability to effectively supervise and develop staff and volunteers
- Demonstrated experience working with people of all ages and physical attributes
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets
- Hold, or eligible to hold, a light rigid driver’s licence.
