Wujal Wujal Justice Group Indigenous Corporation was founded by elders in community and continued direction by the elders. The group offers several programs in community with RJP being one most important program. Office located in the center of the community business hub where support and assistance is for community members.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience essential in counselling and support work. Experience in Indigenous Communities and Community Services fields . Able Work in culturally appropriate activities is highly recommended.
- Qualifications in AOD /Counselling/Community Services is highly regarded. Continue on country programs. Ability to attend training work shops.
- Open drivers Licence, manual. Boat Licence Firs aid Ploice Check Blue card
Tasks & responsibilities
- Coordinate Restorative Justice Program Work as a team, good communications Work with the Justice Group Board and Elders Supervise support staff Performance reporting and budget management Provide social and emotional well being support/ counselling Case manage clients
- Highly motivated and experienced person to coordinate the program. Good communication skills.
- Organize cultural activities including camps on country Collaborate with Justice Group Elders & Coordinator Participate in care coordination & liaise with stakeholders
