Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Lead to oversee the execution and delivery of a critical Payments program within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program lifecycle, from planning and initiation through to implementation and closure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Payments program, aligning with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Technology, Operations, and Compliance, to drive program execution and ensure alignment across all areas of the business.
Define and track program metrics and KPIs to measure progress, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Implement robust governance processes and frameworks to manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the program lifecycle.
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the program team, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts as needed.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders on program status, achievements, and challenges.
Lead by example, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve excellence and deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE strong and extensive experience in the payments space.
Preferably banking or payments industry background
Proven experience (8+ years) in program management roles, preferably lead OR director level.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programs on time and within budget.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Solid understanding of payment systems, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
