What we’re looking for
We are seeking an energetic Program Manager, with a high level of experience in the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects environment, to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business based in Noble Park.
You’ll be Accountable for
This opportunity will see you accountable for managing and leading the operations and delivery of large projects while focusing on safety, cost, schedule, quality, business development and effective management, ensuring key obligations and objectives are met and complied with at a project and organisational level.
Responsibilities include:
  • Providing visible leadership and direction to project teams to ensure contract obligations are delivered to client requirements
  • Ensuring systems are in place to identify significant project delivery risks, and that appropriate risk mitigation measures are implemented
  • Optimising project outcomes considering all aspects such as health and safety, commercial, environment, quality, and community impacts
  • Liaising with key client and employee representatives, building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Inspiring confidence in project team members, gaining their buy-in, and providing opportunity for growth in skills and experience to improve future project outcomes
  • Establish and managing performance expectations and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities
What you’ll bring to the table
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with key client and internal stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex large project environment. You will be resilient, adaptable and someone who is comfortable making decisions and taking the initiative. Key to your success will be your leadership ability to bring people together, build and foster strong working relationships built on trust and by proactively managing program issues in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Professional qualifications in Engineering, Project or Construction Management
  • Exposure to telecommunications infrastructure projects with substantial civil build and associated fibre/copper works
  • Experience in large scale complex program management role/s
  • Competency in project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • Demonstrable experience in leading & managing multiple Project Managers on multiple projects and a large project team (100+ staff), and a large number of subcontractors and a self-perform workforce
