    As the Program Managerin Group Security, you will be responsible for delivering strategic security programs to meet regulatory requirements and operational needs. This includes governance, risk management, delivery and reporting of multiple security projects ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.

    You will be responsible for translating newly introduced or enhanced regulatory requirements into a scope of work, establishing a team to include all relevant stakeholders and identify and prepare a project plan. This role will be responsible for all project deliverables and will develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders within the Group, as well as key external stakeholders, including security management at airports in Australia and offshore, suppliers and where applicable security regulators. Reporting to project committees, security and safety committees and other governance forums on the risks, progress and cost of each project will be required, and therefore this position involves strong program management, communication and development of reporting packs.

    You’ll have –

  • 5+ years’ experience in in project management
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, aviation or equivalent are preferred
  • Extensive aviation background
  • Experience with an airline or aviation security regulator or equivalent desired
  • A strong working knowledge of the aviation security environment, Regulations and Legislation desired
  • Experience in delivering projects in large scale operational and facility-based environments across multiple locations (100+sites)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, committed and dedicated to organisational objectives
  • Flexible to change priorities in allocated work to meet all project deadlines
  • Experience developing content and presentation at governance forums
  • Strong working knowledge of project budgets and financial tracking, risk assessments and stakeholder management
