What is the role?
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional, working within an adult education setting for the role of Program Manager - Education Services. As a Program Manager, you will join a small team of skilled administrative staff who provide support to the AIPM teaching faculty.
You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Team Leader – Education Services, you will be responsible for the administration, co-ordination and management of the delivery of AIPM residential and online programs. This includes working closely with facilitation staff in the preparation of program joining instructions, booking of presenters / external activities, timetabling of program onboarding activities, scheduling of executive coaching sessions, supporting online delivery of programs via Microsoft Teams/Zoom and responding to staff / participant inquiries. You will also be responsible for the management of student records, CANVAS learning management system, version control of all AIPM program documentation and liaison with AIPM staff across the different functions of the organisation.
Essential requirements
- You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
- A Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years administrative experience.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office | Teams and strong ICT skillset.
- High level administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- High level written and verbal communication skills
Desirable requirements
- Experience working with student records management databases and learning management systems.
- A strong focus on excellence in internal and external customer service.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small team and complete complex tasks with limited guidance.
- A commitment to developing & supporting junior team member.
Additional information
- This position is an AFP Band level 5.
- This is a non-ongoing full time role for a period of 24 months.
- This role is located at our campus in Manly, Sydney and applicants are expected to be based on campus.
