Period of AppointmentThere are two (2) positions available.
One (1) permanent and one (1) fixed term for 12 months.
Duties- Undertake analysis and assessment of applications for state nomination in accordance with processes and procedure and prepare clear recommendations and written decisions.
- Provide clear and accurate advice and information to applicants, agents and other clients in relation to the program, escalating matters to senior staff where appropriate.
- Lead or contribute to the delivery of a range of activities, initiatives and projects designed to support strategic objectives, enhance program operations and systems management, and provide high quality services to clients.
- Undertake data analysis and research to support the delivery and enhancement of programs and provide advice to government and other stakeholders.
- Participate in a program of outreach for client groups to increase awareness and understanding of skilled migration pathways and better understand client needs.
- Represent Migration Tasmania at stakeholder events and deliver presentations or information sessions.
- Prepare a range of written materials and advice for government including Minutes, briefing notes, and correspondence.
