Salary range: $85,906 pro rata + 12.5% superannuation. (Hourly rate $43)
This role contributes to the success of the City by coordinating and planning, implementing and reviewing the City of Hobart’s Emergency Management responsibilities in partnership with other Emergency Management and community safety organisations.
Role accountabilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the City’s Municipal Emergency Management Coordinator to deliver Emergency Management services for the council
- Develop effective systems, processes and action plans to support the implementation of Council’s Emergency Management arrangements and programs.
- Provide support to build community capacity and emergency resilience in relation to emergency incidents and facilitate community safety education and awareness programs.

The desired applicant will have;
- Bachelor degree or higher in environmental management, Emergency Management, administration or other equivalent field.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
- Current Driver Licence.
