The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks state-wide; delivers citizen services through Service SA; and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.
The Public Transport In-House Program (PTIP) is leading the Government's election commitment to return rail services to public hands and offers a unique opportunity to deliver a dynamic program of change for the State.
The Program Management Office is looking for suitable candidates with relevant demonstrated experience across multidisciplinary programs of work to fill the crucial roles of Project Officer, Project Support Officer and Program Scheduler.
The PTIP is delivering a significant people and process change project. The successful candidate will demonstrate their skills and experience across broader project delivery of a multidisciplinary program of works, where flexibility and agility across a variety of areas is required. Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work productively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience across a multidisciplinary program of works, significant reform project or process and people change program.
High level communication capability, including verbal and written skills, to deliver clear and concise content and advice appropriate to the audience.
Qualification in Project Management and/or equivalent technical training/relevant experience.
Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior to employment with the Department. Additional employment checks may be required relevant to the role being undertaken as outlined in the role statement.
Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.

Temporary appointment up to 2 years
Remuneration
ASO5 - $84,522 to $94,003 per annum
ASO6 - $97,022 to $102,626 per annum
