About the job
Within the Sustainable Infrastructure Business Group, the Infrastructure Management Office services the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery Lifecycle by providing invaluable specialist scheduling support, complementing their efficiency and project management capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to join the high performing Infrastructure Management Office to provide scheduling and planning services.
This support extends beyond scheduling, encompassing comprehensive Project and Program performance analysis, as well as consolidated portfolio reporting. The team benefits from a wealth of specialist technical knowledge, fostering a consistent and standardised approach to Project and Program schedules across the capital portfolio. This collaborative effort ensures that the delivery of projects align seamlessly with organisational goals and expectations.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:
- Apply the documented scheduling standard to all project, program and portfolio delivery schedules in a consistent and accurate manner.
- Provide specialist technical knowledge to project managers across the capital portfolio to ensure a consistent approach to Project and Program schedules is maintained.
- Develop and distribute timely and accurate project, program or portfolio reports for measurement of performance against baseline
- Communicate readily and often with team members and stakeholders, preferably verbally, speaking openly and honestly.
- Continually explore opportunities to simplify work for self and others.
Your success in this role will come from:
- High level of proficiency in scheduling software (Oracle Primavera P6 and MS Project) is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management and/or relevant experience is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in Project and Program scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with influence, build rapport and convey messages and ideas that involve new or changes to existing processes
- Demonstrated experience in managing portfolio schedules
- Membership or qualifications for acceptance with recognised appropriate Professional Organisation(s)
