Project Accountant Senior (Please Read The Position Description)

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Accountant. Following are the essential skills. 

 Required Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, cost and finance management and/or project accounting on major projects
• Experience in monitoring and controlling project costs
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and providing insights
• Experience in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with audit processes
• Proficient in relevant software, systems and tools, including SAP and Excel
• Understanding the processes of procurement, finance, budgeting and audit 
• Manage budget, cost, cash flow and expenditure data
• Manage the change management process for any budget change and transfer
• Generate cost reports for analysis and monthly reporting
• Accrue for works complete and unpaid invoices at month end
• Provide systematic monitoring of actual costs against planned costs and budget 
• Identifying and reporting potential cost risks and opportunities in a timely manner
• working closely with the scheduler to understand risks to cashflow and proposing changes if required
