We are a design practice established 15 years ago, working nationally across residential, retirement living and hospitality sectors.
As part of a development company, we design, build and operate our facilities providing for a highly collaborative delivery process, from the outset of our projects, working closely with our operations and building teams.
Our design studio is 15+ strong and composed of architects, building designers, an interior designer, and technicians. We also collaborate with other practices locally and nationally.

About the Role

With your early involvement in developing our concept designs, there is an opportunity to take a key role for a company that has experienced exceptional growth in the hospitality, residential and retirement living sectors.
The design process involves working closely with our internal management, marketing, design and building team.
With over 20 projects on the go, and more projects coming on board in the near future, there is a strong pipeline of work.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Tertiary qualified in Architecture/Design or relevant studies ideally a minimum of 7+ years post registration experience master planning, development approval and documentation delivery experience.
- Project experience on seniors living / residential / hospitality sectors for both horizontal and vertical developments and addressing different quality levels (from budget to premium).
- Management experience, working with an internal design team, and client / operational stakeholders as well as external consultants and authorities.
- Project management skills covering project programming / resourcing / consultant engagement / reporting / risk management / construction phase oversight / etc.
- Strong knowledge of the building code, technical detailing and other applicable requirements for single and multistorey residential / seniors developments.
- Revit with technical expertise in preparing design and contract documentation for multiple stages of major developments.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise internally and externally and be part of a friendly team.
- Creative design skills, that consider constructability and value, built upon a strong awareness of the residential / retirement living market and design trends.
- Ability to contribute to the personal development of your project team and, to contribute to the development of the office systems and standards.
