Job Status: Full Time / Part Time, Temporary (13 months Parental Leave Cover) – Flexible working options available including condensed working hours and hybrid working arrangements

Salary: Base salary of $106,544 per annum plus 11% superannuation contributions

YOUR NEW ROLE

Using best practice change management methodologies, the role ensures the organisation has the change management framework and tools to support the effective delivery of projects and change initiatives. As part of the Enterprise Risk & Program Management Office this role will partner with project sponsors and managers to provide expert change management advice in the planning and delivery of key organisation wide projects at the Opera House.

The position plays a lead role in key change initiatives, and partners with project personnel to establish clear and comprehensive change plans, monitor progress and facilitate cross functional collaboration, to ensure the successful achievement of project deliverables, business outcomes and organisation and cultural renewal. The role seeks to identify operational and business process impacts associated with major projects and change initiatives, to ensure change plans support the realisation of agreed project benefits.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Key Responsibilities/skills:

  • Bachelors level minimum tertiary qualification (Business, Change Management, Program/Project Management, Technology), or equivalent experience.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice change and project management principles and experience in applying these. 
  • Experience in managing the development and implementation of change initiatives designed to improve organisational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and redesign 
  • Ability to build effective business partnering relationships, including an ability to analyse and evaluate and develop options and solutions.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, networking and relationship management skills
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentation skills/experience. Information management and documentation skills and experience.
  • Experience in planning, managing and monitoring projects with multiple workstreams.
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of the Performing Arts Industry or experience in a sector or industry with similar complexities.
