We are looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to join our Tier One client's Sustaining Capital - HME and Technology Team in Perth.In response to significant growth in internally developed autonomous truck fleets within their Pilbara mining operations, our tier one client is looking to expand its remote support team based in their Perth Head Office. Travel to site will be required once every 2 months.
Working Monday to Friday,you will be instrumental in providing a full range of administrative and project co-ordinating support to the project team. This role has exciting career possibilities with the potential for the role to develop into a Project Lead role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative and coordination support to project team.
- Uses standard business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Maintains files, records associated with demonstration activities.
- Manages dashboards, monthly reports.
- Provides timely and relevant updates to appropriate stakeholders and decision makers.
- Compiles and analyses data for management reporting and metrics.
- Supports appropriate project governance (including risk and issue management and resolution) and ensures it is maintained
- Works with appropriate groups where required to exchange information and resources.
- Manages the Purchase order and accommodation processes including accommodation optimisation
- Assists with the creation, maintenance and reporting on the project plan and schedule.
- Participates in project schedule review meetings and update schedules.
- Assists in maintaining the integrity of integrated project schedules.
- Supports development of monthly schedule reports, including proper analysis.
- Assists in the development and update of progress and commodity curves.
- Assists in schedule development and monitoring for assigned areas.
- Supports compliance with standardised processes, systems and tools.
- Maintains the relationship with contracting and other project planning stakeholders.
- Assists with analysing and reporting implications of changes to plan and schedule.
- Provides technical support to project stakeholders.
- Ensure the team members are using the Business tools as they are intended
- Support the site Senior Advisor and OJT’s in the team training needs ensuring that the resources
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suite of products including Excel, Word, Outlook and Publisher
- Must have previous experience creating costings, invoicing, raising Purchase Orders and performing mobilisations
- Highly organised, diligent with a team centric focus
- Have 3 years Project-Co-ordination experience within the mining industry
- Ideally have SAP experience and knowledge
- Ideally have document control experience
- Ideally have an understanding of mine technology and autonomous operations
- Ideally hold current RTIO inductions
- Previous experience working for a Tier One Mining Organisation will be highly regarded.
