Light Project has operated at the forefront of lighting technology and control for over 15 years. We specialise in providing lighting solutions to clients across fields of architecture, design, engineering, development and construction. As part of our team you will work closely with our brand partners both local and international to supply lighting solutions across multiple sectors and of all scales.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role requires pro-active collaboration with our national team and a good understanding of lighting and the project coordination process.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to understand project opportunities, plans, timelines and milestones to closely monitor project progress;
- Respond to quotation requests and coordinate internal project review;
- Create accurate quotations from luminaire schedules and produce technical datasheets;
- Track orders to ensure all projects are delivered on time, accurately, within budget and to high quality standard;
- Monitor logistics and keep all project stakeholders up-to-date with accurate delivery dates;
- Pro-actively develop product knowledge to offer technical assistance and post project completion support;
- Utilise the Netsuite CRM system effectively to maintain project files, customer files, quotes, inventory and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Understanding of the design and construction process and/or lighting industry experience is highly favourable;
- Good understanding of the project coordination process;
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills essential;
- Customer centric mindset and a professional and friendly manner;
- Netsuite knowledge is ideal but not necessary as training will be provided;
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
