Contract length: 12 months from start date
Location: Parramatta + WFH
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator who will report to the Design Manager, and be responsible for:
• Streamlining our planning and project management of everyday tasks, utilising Atlassian to
the best of its capabilities (help us simplify the number of platforms we currently use).
• Managing the operations planning (and change management) for both major and minor releases.
• Collaborating with the Business Analysts to track the progress of each Agile scrum team (currently two), highlighting risks, and planning the pipeline of future work (in consultation with the Design Manager and Technical lead).
• Monitor and control activities by identifying the potential risks and issues in the project and escalating to proper channels.
• Planning releases, managing the structure of epics and sprints.
• Assisting with roadmap planning and cross-functional consultation and communications.
• Assisting with the development of our product prioritisation process.
• Raising scope/timeframe and budget concerns and facilitating ways to mitigate them so that we can meet the priority goals of the roadmap and funding commitments.
• Procurement and contract management.
Essential
• You have a minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• You have experience working with the Atlassian Suite, especially Jira.
• You have experience working in an Agile product development team with understanding of user stories, epics and releases.
• You’re comfortable working in a highly collaborative way.
• You have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. This is because much of the role is collaborating with others and making things clear for them quickly. You’ll need to build and maintain great relationships with key stakeholders.
