This role co-ordinates, controls and oversees all aspects of specific projects in conjunction with the engineering and service delivery teams to ensure contract delivery, budgetary and operational targets and objectives are achieved.
Specifically this role is to ensure customer requirements from receipt of contract / order to completion (DIFOT) and budget are
achieved. This role takes ownership of day-to-day issues and communication with all parties in order to facilitate smooth project management.
You must have 5+ years experience working as a qualified Electrician and ideally have experience in a similar role or proven qualifications and knowledge.
Willingness to travel is essential. The projects will be mainly around Sydney Metro areas. With the occasional longer trip.

- At least 5 years Licenced Electrician experience
- Valid NSW Electrical Licence
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or relevant
demonstrated experience. - General estimating proficiency
- Customer relationship management
- Competent in the Microsoft Office applications, including
MS Project - Experience managing installation teams and electrical
contracting projects - Demonstrated experience in resolving problems – both
technical and people management issues - You must be able to pass a pre employment medical and police check
- Must have a White Card
- Valid NSW drivers licence (Manual preferred)
- Physically fit
- Experience in DC power systems and Switchboards, telecom, solar desirable
- RIW Card is a bonus but not essential
- Looking for a permanent role with longevity in mind.
- Willing to travel
- Liaise with the site managers, supervisors and project management team to ensure documentation/reporting is processed and any issues that may affect the project, customer, delivery schedule or profitability are identified.
- Investigate any reported OH&S issues that may pose risk by conducting risk assessments, system audits and site inspections
- Assist the Project Manager with the scheduling of project implementations
- Provide technical support and design initiative to assist the estimating, engineering and production teams.
- Participate in order reviews, design reviews and job closure meetings to ensure the continual improvement of the design quality.
