This will be a fixed term role for 18 months where you will be working with a group of highly proficient and supportive team members.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, recommending, and then driving projects that improve and automate our current financial systems, then reporting on improvements after implementing change.
- Implementing controls for internal systems (policies and procedure efficiency improvements).
- Reviewing procedures and policies for financial systems.
- Ability to pull data from multiple data sets/sources, build dashboards and data tables, and develop operational and analytical reporting.
- Managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance & updates of NetSuite as part of a team.
- Educate & provide ongoing support to all users to optimize the use of NetSuite.
- Inventory management - with a focus on costing methods, pricing, stock take, variance reporting, and bills of material.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Relevant bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Accountant or similar role.
- CA/CPA/CIMA membership (preferred but not essential).
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Business Acumen across Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Experience in developing and deploying impactful dashboards & reports.
- Experience with SAP HANA, data warehousing, SWIFT, BI, and reporting tools is beneficial.
