Job description

About the company: The company is renowned globally for delivering customized solutions and impeccable logistics services within the commercial industry worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of project progress against timeline and budget
  • Monitor QC Progress
  • Coordinate & Attend Installation
  • Preparation of documentation to support project/tender proposal
  • Calculating installation budgets for tenders
  • Ensuring continual movement of information between operations and sales teams
  • Liaise with internal logistics and purchasing team to ensure smooth running of projects
  • Cross checking client drawings and details to quotations and client purchase order
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure all details are clear and to achieve on time, on budget delivery
  • Obtain sign off of drawings and finishes where applicable
  • Obtain and send sample swatches of relevant materials for customer sign off
  • Updating internal company Stakeholders on project status
  • Maintaining project files
  • Maintain electronic filing system
  • Work with the companies internal shipping coordinator to ensure accurate calculation of freight measurements and sign off on logistics quotes
  • Establish initial timeline based on project completion requirements
  • Set interim goals to be achieved and assess progress against these goals
  • Monitoring of project progress against agreed timelines
  • Oversee shipping documents in concert with the companies shipping coordinator
  • Work with suppliers on drawings, timings, deliveries
  • Establishing & Liaising with installation teams to ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
  • Client contact where applicable
  • Review and reporting on financial and statistical data generated by projects against budget
  • Assistance with any other special project areas as required

Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration in a product based industry
  • An ability to interpret working drawings
  • A background in the furniture industry or associated industries
  • Flexible and adaptable personality
  • A ‘Can-Do’ attitude
  • An understanding of multiple priorities and an ability to manage in a fast paced environment
  • Clear concise communication
  • Attention to detail

Must have full working rights in Australia
