The Northern Tasmanian Development Corporation (NTDC) is a regional development agency. In collaboration with our funding members and key stakeholders, our goal is for Northern Tasmania is a place where people, ideas, businesses, and industries thrive and grow. Key responsibilities & dutiesAs our Project Coordinator, you will manage the delivery of regional development projects, convening stakeholder events, writing grant submissions, researching topics via agreed sources, and sharing what you discover or create. In doing this role, you will share NTDC’s holistic view of regional development, taking a quintuple bottom line approach and considering profit, people, planet, ethics and equity, while being clear, connected, curious and creative.
What you will bring to the role
As this role is responsible for identifying, designing and implementing projects, we are looking for someone who has:
- relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- a sound understanding of regional development and/or of the Northern Tasmanian Region.
- experience in designing projects, based on project management principles
- the ability to present confidently in meetings and lead workshops and forums as required
- the ability to identify and analyse data and communicate it in plain English
- well-developed communication skills, including written, verbal and online communications.
