Your new company
We have partnered with a large government department client to assist in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. This role is located in East Perth and has a focus on budget analysis and preparation of the project. This role will commence once all required department onboarding and screening processes have been completed, including producing an NPC within the last 3 months.
Your new role
- Coordinates, prepares, and monitors project budgets
- Management of project financial, accounting and procurement requirements
- Financial and budgeting analysis
- Preparation of suitable management reports
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Well-developed time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Possession of tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or Accounting that
- CPA / IPA qualification preferred
- Satisfactory completion of required medical examinations to verify physical fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- Provision of a current National Police Clearance certificate, dated 3 months or less from the date of application for the position
