Division: Projects and Asset Services
As a Project Delivery Coordinator within the Projects and Asset Services division, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a technical team to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
Operational Management:
- Lead and manage a technical team to deliver infrastructure projects efficiently and within budget.
- Oversee the construction management of multidisciplinary infrastructure assets.
- Build and nurture high-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery outcomes.
- Provide expert technical advice to senior management on project progress and program delivery.
- Coordinate project management activities to prioritize and meet budget requirements.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively for project and construction management.
- Contribute to the application of modern engineering solutions and practices in program activities.
- Act as a specialist advisor on construction matters related to the delivery program.
- Develop and maintain operational and management systems to enhance work practices and team performance.
- Implement performance measures to continually improve Project Delivery efficiency.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrated project and construction management experience in various infrastructure projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on quality customer service.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards, and best practices in infrastructure construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in project management, civil engineering, or construction management.
- Current C class driver’s license.
- Construction Induction Card competency obtained within the past 2 years.
