Their projects typically range from 1 – 100MW and are carefully selected to ensure sector and geographic diversification within their portfolio. Through their co-investing model and strategic relationships, they are dedicated to enabling the transition towards a more sustainable and renewable future.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Delivery Engineer or Project Manager to join their close-knit team. This role is pivotal in leading the delivery of their renewable energy projects from inception through to commissioning.

You will be involved in all stages of project management, including early design, contractor management, and hands-on delivery and will have direct support with an experienced and dedicated team.

Location: Due to the geographical nature of our projects we encourage applications from candidates who live in the following areas (or surrounding):

• Hobart
• Launceston
• Grafton, NSW
• Northern Queensland (Cloncurry)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Project delivery process, ensuring successful commissioning and operation.
• Engage in early design phases of projects, with the capability to be mentored and grow in this area.
• Manage on-site contractors, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Own the Project delivery period, demonstrating strengths in early-stage design and hands-on project management.
• Flexibility to travel to site at various stages of the project.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to or interest in electrical engineering aspects.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management or engineering, specifically within the renewable energy sector or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from design to commissioning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Ability to work on-site at various project locations across Australia as required.
• A proactive, go-getter attitude with a passion for renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
