Position SummaryPosition: Community Carer (Domestic)About the Role: Join the Central Gippsland Health (CGH) team as a Community Carer in Wellington Shire. As a Community Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting older individuals and those with disabilities to maintain their independence at home by providing exceptional care and services. There is a significant demand within our community for assistance with domestic duties, and we are recruiting compassionate individuals to meet this need. We offer both Part-Time and Casual positions with flexible working hours to accommodate your schedule.About Central Gippsland Health (CGH): CGH is a sub-regional health service and the primary provider of health and aged care services in the Wellington Shire. Located in the picturesque City of Sale, just 215 km east of Melbourne, Sale offers access to the stunning Gippsland Lakes, 90 Mile Beach, and the Victorian Alps.CGH provides acute care across Wellington Shire through an integrated service delivery model. Our services span three campuses (Sale, Maffra, and Heyfield) and include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, operating theatres, oncology, dialysis, and sub-acute services like rehabilitation. As a leading teaching hospital, CGH is affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health, offering placements and clinical experience for students. In addition to acute care, CGH supports the Wellington Shire community with in-home support services, prioritizing client-centered care to help individuals achieve their personal goals.Duties:

• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, bed making, dusting, and food preparation.
• Undertake grocery shopping for people unable to access the community to do so
• Maintain a supportive and respectful environment for clients.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Current Victorian Driver’s license and access to own vehicle (travel allowance provided).
• NDIS Worker Check Clearance.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
