The Project Delivery Manager – Digital Solutions is a pivotal role focusing on the end-to-end delivery of digital projects from initiation to completion that they meet customer objectives and align with our Digital Solutions strategy.
This includes the implementation and integration of IoT-connected devices, electronic shelf labels, and smart lockers to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of digital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet customer objectives, deadlines, and budgets.2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and tailor Digital Solutions accordingly.3. Oversee project teams and sub contractors, ensuring effective communication and resource allocation.4. Monitor project progress and resolve issues to ensure successful project completion.5. Support product development efforts to integrate new digital technologies including evaluation of new technologies that could compliment existing digital portfolio.6. Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and performance monitoring, to ensure continuous operation and customer satisfaction.7. Collaboration with partners, customers, and internal technical support teams8. Assist in the digital sales journey by offering specialized knowledge and insights into systems, solutions, and capabilities, while actively seeking out and identifying opportunities for upselling and new sales initiatives.
Skills and experience:
- Relevant Bachelors qualification in information technology, engineering, business administration or another related field. • 5+ years of experience in Digital Solutions product support or customer support.
Proven experience in Project management and project coordination within Digital Solutions segment.
- Possess an entrepreneurial/commercial focus and be driven and capable to meet business growth targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing project teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability assess and prioritize issues and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Sound business understanding and ability to work across multiple functions and work with multiple IT platforms.
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus as well as an understanding of current and emerging IoT solutions and technologies
