The Role
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Delivery Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Projects team, Engineering and Planning based in Melbourne, VIC on a 15 month Max Term Contract.
Reporting to the Lead Project Delivery Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivery of the project site works against agreed scope, objectives, KPIs and success factors on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a multi-disciplinary site team to ensure all construction activities have adequate monitoring to ensure quality assurance
- Issue regular Reports and Meetings of Minutes
- Manage construction, commissioning and site close out activities
- Ensure key resource conflicts, issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope are managed on site.
- Prepare and manage construction plans, schedules and deliverables
- Ensure that all APA HSE policies and protocols are adhered to during construction
- Participate and contribute to HAZID and Environmental Risk Assessments for all projects
- Perform audits on Contractor Construction Supervisor personnel for compliance to APA's systems and procedures.
- Extensive experience in the oil, gas and/or petrochemical industries and demonstrated achievement in supervision of field crew in mechanical and civil construction works associated with pipelines and / or gas transmission facilities
- Experience and ability to manage projects in different disciplines, including civil, mechanical, pipeline, electrical, instrumentation and controls
- A working knowledge of the latest codes in particular the AS2885, AS4041, ASME B31.3, AS3000 suite of standards
