Committed to innovation, environmental responsibility, and fostering positive change,As a key member of the Australian Development team, the Project Development Manager, reporting directly to the Country Manager, will play a pivotal role in driving the success of projects in Energy Storage, PV, and Wind technologies.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to Project Development Strategy: Develop and clearly articulate a comprehensive strategy for Project Development, covering Energy Storage, PV, and Wind technologies.
- Site Origination: Identify commercial and planning risks for new prospects, initiate contact with landowners, agents, and stakeholders, and assess the viability of potential sites.
- Grid Connection Support: Facilitate the grid connection application process, ensuring the smooth integration of projects into existing infrastructure.
- External Partners Management: Select and oversee external partners, consultants, and advisors to ensure the effective development of projects.
- Opportunity Screening and Assessment: Thoroughly screen and assess opportunities, focusing on administrative, technical, commercial, and developmental aspects.
- Greenfield Opportunity Procurement: Identify and secure Greenfield opportunities, implementing a robust follow-up on critical project paths to adhere to internal and external timelines.
- Budget Management: Efficiently manage the budget associated with the project pipeline, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Documentation Preparation: Support the preparation of documentation required for tendering and bid processes, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and technical, to ensure seamless coordination in project assessment and implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders involved in Project Development, fostering strong relationships for the successful execution of projects.
- Educational Background: The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the development of Energy Storage or Renewable Energy projects.
- Industry Background: The ideal candidate should have a solid development and commercial background in the renewable industry, with involvement in all relevant phases of the project life cycle.
