Project Director

ROUSSOS is partnering with one of Australia’s leading Tier 1 commercial contractors; this builder has contributed to landmark projects across multiple sectors including commercial, defence, high-rise residential, aged care and public infrastructure. This Project Director role will position you strategically within the business. Supported by a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in current Tier 1 projects and those secured for the upcoming years - a great opportunity to further cement your career as a leader in the South Australian market -a great opportunity to further cement your career as a leader in the South Australian market.
 
The Role
Working closely with the senior management team, this role offers the chance to significantly influence the growth strategy of the business. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the overall delivery of a pivotal Tier 1 project
• Developing project plans and timelines, setting clear objectives and deliverables
• Managing and mentoring project teams, coordinating efforts to ensure timely project completion
• Build strategic relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers 
• Handling project budgets and financials, including risk management and cost tracking
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to risk management plans

The Like Mind
To be considered for the position, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, proven construction delivery experience in the Australian market, and a minimum of 6 years working as a Project Manager across commercial, health and / or industrial sectors up to $50M.   

You should also demonstrate:

• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading teams, delegating tasks, and making informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities to nurture and sustain relationships
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
