The role:
As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate and assist with overseeing key delivery of infrastructure projects across Newcastle and wider NSW.
We are a Newcastle based business and so you must be all good with driving in and out of Newcastle to some of our regional jobs in NSW, we will also help facilitate relocation if you interested in moving to sunny Newcastle.
Your impact:
Your site presence will enable our teams to work cohesively and ensure the smooth delivery of key projects.
Your every day:
- Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
- Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete
- Leading and supporting a strong safety culture
- Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track;
- Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years relevant civil construction experience
- Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Drivers license and own transport
