Our client is seeking Project Engineer to join our team working on a significant infrastructure project based in New South Wales. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the project's planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with project requirements and organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely completion of design and engineering activities.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution, in accordance with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders and management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
