Currently they are engaged on a number of major infrastructure projects, with their scope of works including; Earthworks, Drainage, FRP works & Piling. They are now seeking a Civil Project Engineer who is looking to grow with them.
Role
As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will be varied and include;
- Coordinate with Managers and Superintendents on Engineering, temporary works, scheduling and status of the project.
- Provide general technical assistance to supervisory personnel.
- Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel.
- Control field construction engineering and schedules for overall programs.
- Calculate quantities and estimate works.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Management of direct/indirect staff, plant and materials
- Prepare reports on progress, manpower and costs and coordinate the work scheduling and procurement.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering
- Specialist experience in Project Engineering and civil construction
- A working knowledge of project management, estimating and FRP works
- Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines
- Experience in earthworks, drainage and civil projects
- Demonstrated experience in management of subcontractors/suppliers
- Commitment to HSE
