We currently have the opportunity for a Project Engineer Electrical to join our Projects team.
THE ROLE
As part of our Projects division, this role is responsible for carrying out end to end Electrical Project Coordination of multiple Greenfields and/or Brownfields projects.
Based in our Perth Head Office with time on site as required, this position is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
- Detailing and documenting all phases of projects
- Plan all materials, ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources
- Manage scheduling of work and preparation of detailed work-packs
- Monitor procurement to ensure work crews have all required plant, equipment and materials required to conduct works correctly
- Ensure that all variations to scope and or specifications are approved, documented and claims maximised without adversely affecting the client relationship
- Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolutions, and costs of identified vendor NCRs
- Review completed site quality documentation and compile close out documentations
- Oversee invoicing to ensure all works are invoiced accurately and within the required timeframes
- Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with client and statutory quality and safety requirements
- Provide weekly & monthly reports
- Monitor and manage Electrical Quality and Statutory Documentation and Systems
- Conduct regular audits on electrical activities
- Assist with project plans and the project manager as required
ABOUT YOU
To be considered you will have the following:
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Strong knowledge of engineering design concepts and practices
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera 6
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical construction
- Previous shutdown and contract experience
- Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels
- Efficient at diagnosing and resolving design and functional issues arising during construction
- Ability to deliver high quality work under strict deadlines
- A National Police Check
- Australian work rights
- Be able to attend a pre-employment medical
