Form of workOur client is a very successful food manufacturer who utilize manufacturing tools such as process improvement and automation to remain a market leader in a highly competitive industry. They supply quality products to a strong and varied customer base, and believe in striving toward ongoing, sustainable growth. This philosophy has led to the need for a Project Engineer to join their small Projects Team. The role will involve you in active and prospective installations and upgrades.
Specific duties will include:
- Preparation of submissions for approval
- Initiation, design and cost estimation
- Managing specific capital and civil projects from initiation to final handover
- Manage and co-ordinate various stakeholders including trades, builders, engineers, contract installation crews
- Extensive involvement in facilitation with end users, maintenance and production
- Ensure project delivery is on time and to budget
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Possess a relevant Engineering and/or Project Management qualification
- Have experience leading various projects in a food and beverage, or FMCG environment
- Strong project financial acumen
- Have strong knowledge of and adherence to OH&S, GMP and HACCP
- Be an excellent communicator and enjoy working in a team environment
- Be solutions oriented.
Please note: due to the nature of the work and programs, Saturday work will often be required
