The Mechanical Project Engineer will perform mechanical engineering tasks and acitvities required to deliver the mechanical scope of works on the project.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and apply applicable technical specifications/standards, contractual conditions, company policies and procedures as they apply to the Mechanical Installation works on the projects Translate Mechanical Engineering drawings and diagrams for the mechanical installation works Plan and coordinate direct labour and subcontractors work fronts Prepare financial informatio for month end forecasting and budgets Procure materials and equipment including purchase order and invoice management Constantly monitoring quality, schedule and cost in order to identify changes promptly and implement appropriate actions
Key Requirements
Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering Trade 3-5 years experience in a similar role Experience in mechanical construction projects within the water industry (greenfield & brownfield) Demonstrated ability in building relationships with project stakeholders and cross functional disciplines Project planning, organisational and time management skills Ability to interpret and apply contracts' terms and legislation provisions Analytical planning anf budgeting skills
