The Role
We are looking for dynamic Project Engineers who will be accountable for assisting Project Managers in the successful planning, management, delivery & reporting of projects. Working across multiple projects you as a disciplined engineer (electrical or mechanical) will directly support the Project Managers in their delivery of the construction of projects.
This role is a hand on position and will be varied with the coordination and documentation of daily, weekly, and monthly project activities, ensuring schedule updates are actioned per the PMs requirements, collating, and presenting weekly and monthly financial controls to Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the delivery of projects including but not limited to:
- Assist with the collation of project/s performance, budgeting and periodic forecasting
- Assist PMs to schedule resources and activities to effectively deliver projects
- Lead project procurement on behalf of the PM
- Collate, sense checking and summation of work-in-progress (WIP) information
- Ensure Document Control processes are followed
- Ensure site information is produced, packaged and delivered to site in a timely manner to support works
- Work with Schedulers to ensure project schedules are accurate and up to date
- Draft reports on project milestone progress
- Draf project scope and resource documents
- Follow up on project deliverables per deliverables timelines
- Attend and minute project meetings on behalf of the PMs
- Maintain and follow up project meeting Action Registers on behalf of PMs
- Draft risk reporting on behalf of PMs
- Draft safety reporting on behalf of PMs
- Step up and act for the PM’s running project meetings when they are unable to remote in or on leave
About You:
- Demonstrated project experience or a university degree in a suitable discipline, engineering, science, planning, project management or similar.
- Highly developed people skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent written and excel skills
- Strong knowledge of project delivery requirements
