Are you a seasoned Telecom Project Engineer with a track record in Oil & Gas projects? We have an exciting opportunity tailor-made for your skills.
Role Highlights:
- Take charge of designing, executing, and commissioning telecoms projects, encompassing RF (microwave, satellite, radio, LoRaWAN), PAGA, and radar systems.
- Primarily office-based in Perth, with intermittent travel to onshore and offshore sites for essential audits and project execution.
- Ensure project delivery aligns seamlessly with the requirements outlined by Program Managers and the DFS Delivery Framework.
- Skill-fully manage safety, risk, quality, cost, and project readiness.
- Oversee vendor relationships and their deliverables.
- Adhere diligently to industry standards, including OMF, WEL, and Australian Standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, including those in electrical and structural disciplines.
- Steer project timelines and maintain high performance standards in safety, risk, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Provide regular updates to Program and Project Managers, complete with key KPIs and ongoing enhancement initiatives.
- Efficiently allocate and manage valuable project resources.
- Execute change management processes (MoC) when warranted.
- Foster clear communication with asset owners, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and tracking project progress.
- Uphold site activities within the designated hours and rates.
- Possess a valid qualification as a Telecoms Engineer, complemented by relevant hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in RF systems, particularly in LoRaWAN, WiFi, and digital/analog radio systems.
- Exhibit strong project management capabilities.
- Flexibility to travel to onshore and offshore locations, as necessitated by project demands.
