Project Engineer - Underground Mining

What you bring to the team:

You will be a self-driven and motivated person who is looking to bring your previous experience in Project or Mine Engineering and apply it to a challenging and diverse role.

Your skills will include:

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer position
• High level data and reporting skills with the ability to analysis operational numbers for optimisation and efficiencies
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Sound communication skills including being able to present new ideas and initiatives to high level managers.
• Drive to be a hands-on Project Engineer, in this role you will have the option to regularly visit site operations as required.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• Previous experience in a Project Engineer position within underground gold mining is highly desirable,
• Exceptional Microsoft excel skills
• Production and planning experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground environment.
• WA underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within all levels of the business.
• Minimum "C" class unencumbered driver's licence.
• A commitment to health and safety practices
