SalaryCGC Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing client nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom across Australia. This company are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors including Roads, Rail, Resources and Renewable Energies.
They have just been awarded a $300ml Landmark Water infrastructure project and have identified an immediate need for a Project Engineer to join the business on a full time basis. Reporting to the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for duties such as preparing, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Scopes Include: Civil, Structures, Mechanical and Electrical.
The position offers a long term role in Cairns North QLD and the opportunity to work on one of one of the most complex technical engineering projects that would be a landmark project on an Engineers resume.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
- Prior Water Infrastructure experience (pipelines, WTP, STP, Pump Stations etc)
- Must have Tier 1/2 Contracting Experience
- Willing to relocate to Cairns on a full time basis
- Driven and capable
