Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer

The Opportunity:Â

Are you a seasoned Project Engineer with a keen eye for safety? Do you have solid experience in industrial or construction settings, coupled with a strong understanding of Australian standards? If so, we have contract opportunities for site-based Project Engineers or Senior Project Engineers on a 3/1 Roster located onsite in WA.Â

As a Project Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our client’s Energy project. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with the 'Basis for Design' (BfD), client specifications, and Austaralian Standards. Additionally, you will work closely with the Owner's Engineers to address any concerns and minimize quality risks.Â

Key responsibilities include: Â

• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.Â

• Collaborate with the Owner's team and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.Â

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.Â

• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.Â

• Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.Â

• Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices to enhance project outcomes.Â

Â

Skills & experience required:Â

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.Â

• Significant experience in Project Engineering, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.Â

• Background in Process, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering preferred.Â

• Strong understanding of Australian standards and regulations.Â

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Â

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Â
