About the Role

Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our national Projects teams across Australia. You will manage and execute engineering projects from concept to completion. This role will offer remuneration between $155K to $170K depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare Scope of Work for projects, ensuring clear project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
• Manage and execute engineering projects, including feasibility studies, design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including designs, specifications, reports, and project progress updates.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of varying systems.
• Champion a safety-focused culture, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation measures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address engineering requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering field.
• Proven experience with a minimum of 7 years in engineering with some experience in renewable energy industry will be highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical and power system analysis software.
• Familiarity with Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) software and developing PLC logic diagrams.
• Proficiency in using software tools specific to electrical design, such as EPLAN or similar.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring experience.
