Purpose:
Assist in environmental compliance, offset management, and fostering sustainable practices for their Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to environmentally responsible infrastructure delivery on a large scale.
Accountabilities:
Support Senior Project Environmental Advisor in advising on environmental management and compliance issues.
Assist in identifying, implementing, and managing offset measures for net positive environmental outcomes.
Engage stakeholders, facilitate effective communication, and champion environmental stewardship.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in environmental impact assessments and cultural heritage management.
Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
