Form of work As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction phase by accurately estimating the costs associated with the project. You will collaborate closely with the project management and design teams to analyse project specifications, prepare detailed cost estimates, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
Analyse project plans, specifications & other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, and engineers to obtain competitive quotes & ensure all project requirements have been captured in the tender submission.
Prepare detailed & comprehensive tender proposals, including cost breakdowns, timelines & any special requirements.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market conditions & new construction technologies to continuously improve estimating practices.
Build & maintain internal data bases to assist with producing estimations.
