Engeny is seeking an Estimator / Scheduler with 3+ years’ experience to become part of our team and work on challenging and rewarding projects in the resources, infrastructure, drainage, urban development and roads space.
This role will include:
- Generating Class 4 and 5 construction estimates and schedules to inform project decisions / recommendations
- Generating project engineering estimates and schedules in a variety of classes
- Providing planning, development and management of project schedules (engineering and execution)
- Supporting the project team to provide progress and cost control and accurate reporting
- Evaluating project progress and cost performance against plan and identify potential progress and budget over-runs that necessitate corrective action
- Supporting the project team to manage generation of Class 2 and 3 estimates from sub-contractors
- Generating and maintaining estimating and scheduling standards / procedures

About You
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Good levels of computer literacy to effectively use the following software: MS office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Oracle Primavera P6; Microsoft office suite; Document Management Systems including Aconex; Acumen Fuse preferred but not essential; Deltek preferred but not essential
- High attention to detail and knowledge of Project Planning and Management
- Aptitude in building and sustaining positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables
- A self-starter who can readily adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements / Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience is preferred, but more and less experienced candidates will be considered
- Qualifications in engineering, project management, cost control or planning/scheduling preferred, but not essential
- Mining experience desirable
- Understanding of Earned Value Management and Project Management
