Permanent roles supporting PRFS – based in Canning Vale but with flexibility to work out of Balcatta

Perth Regional Field Services is a key function within Water Corporation that supports the critical works that ensure we keep our customers water running.
To assist us in providing the most efficient services to our customers we have reviewed our structure to enable us to better provide preventative maintenance as well as unplanned works.
What you will do
As the Project leader – Reactive Projects you will lead and support the delivery of Reactive Projects that achieve safety and quality standards, meet financial and environmental objectives, and enable the provision of water and wastewater services.
You will lead the delivery (overall planning, scheduling and cashflow forecasting) of Reactive Projects that comply with corporate and regulatory requirements and meet service level agreements.
Manage contractors and asset resourcing by provide site and front-line leadership to ensure capability and capacity to deliver,
Monitor and report on progress and performance of Reactive Projects; identify issues and opportunities for improvement and implement actions.
Manage and support the coordination of team and contractor activities to deliver financial and organisational performance outcomes.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders who are critical to supporting the delivery of Reactive Projects
About you
You have experience in an operational environment assisting you to hit the ground running while establishing your newly formed team. You will use your sound knowledge and understanding of project and asset management frameworks and principles to drive change, building positive momentum while ensuring the change is considered and effective.
Previous Experience
Tertiary level qualification in project management, engineering or relevant discipline OR trade qualification OR Certificate III/IV Water Industry Worker.
Substantial experience working for a large infrastructure based organisation in an operational environment.
Considerable experience managing construction and/or maintenance projects in a large infrastructure based organisation.
Considerable experience in managing contractors in a site / construction environment.
