About the role:
We are looking for Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to work on full time basis with our company. A perfect balance of technical skills, analytical skills, and effective communication skills is essential for this role. The civil engineer should be able to find an effective and efficient way of creating a solution to new structures.
Location: Turrella NSW 2205
Salary range: $120000-$130000 per annum (based on work experience and skillset)
Role: Full-time
The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
· Plan, design, organise, and schedule the civil infrastructure projects
· Manage worksites throughout the City of Sydney Council local government
· Manage budgets and timelines on civil projects
· Analyse and interpret engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for construction projects
· Assess construction materials and costs by analysing and interpreting drawings and specifications
· Plan and schedule daily activities through paperless software system
· Determine project costs by calculating labour, material, and related costs
· Plan construction methods and procedures and optimize designs whererever possible
· Coordinate with council representatives to meet clients’ needs and approvals
· Conduct on site investigations, coordinate site activities, and analyse data for structures and equipment
· Oversee construction activities and conduct all necessary inspections
· Review design issues, provide appropriate solutions, and manage variation processes in relation to civil projects
Qualification and Experience:
· Must have a relevant academic qualification – Bachelor in Civil Engineering or higher
· Experience – at least 3 years of proven work experience in Civil Engineering
Skills and competencies:
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCad
· Ability to develop & maintain systems and procedures to each project
· Ability to meet strict deadlines.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Familiar with WH&S
· Driver’s License
· Strong problem- solving and logical reasoning abilities.
· Attention to detail and conceptual skills
· Positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
